Product Warranty

Warranty

Evokomoribi provides a 12-month warranty from the shipment date against manufacturing defects on all B2B orders. The warranty covers motor, PCBA, charging, silicone construction, and waterproofing failures attributable to production.

Last updated: May 17, 2026

1. Warranty Period

12 months from the confirmed shipment date

The warranty period begins on the date goods are handed to the carrier at the FOB point, as evidenced by the airway bill or bill of lading. Warranty claims must be initiated before the 12-month period expires, regardless of when the Buyer or their customers discover the defect.

2. What Is Covered

The warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship, including:

  • Motor failure or significant performance degradation under normal operating conditions within the warranty period
  • PCBA malfunction causing failure to power on, charge, or respond to controls
  • Charging port failure attributable to assembly defect (not physical damage)
  • Silicone surface delamination, separation at seams, or material cracking not caused by misuse or improper storage
  • IPX5 waterproofing failure when the device is used within its rated conditions
  • BLE connectivity failure on app-controlled models attributable to firmware or hardware assembly (not end-user app or OS compatibility)
  • Incorrect product configuration vs. confirmed purchase order specification

3. What Is Not Covered

  • Physical damage from dropping, impact, crushing, or improper storage by the Buyer or their customers
  • Water ingress beyond the rated IPX5 depth or pressure conditions
  • Battery capacity degradation from repeated deep discharge, overcharging, or use of non-supplied charging equipment
  • Damage caused by unauthorized modification, repair, or disassembly of the product
  • Normal wear — surface micro-scratches, minor color change, or softening of silicone from repeated use over time
  • Damage resulting from use of the product outside its intended purpose
  • Products that have been rebranded, relabeled, or resold under the Buyer's brand and subsequently returned by end consumers (end-consumer warranty is the Buyer's responsibility)

4. How to Make a Warranty Claim

To initiate a warranty claim, email info@evokomoribi.com with subject line “Warranty Claim — [Your PO Number]” and include:

  • Purchase order number and shipment / airway bill date
  • Product name, model, and batch number (from product label)
  • Number of defective units and total units from that batch still in inventory
  • Clear photos or short video demonstrating the defect
  • Description of the failure mode and when/how it was discovered

We acknowledge all claims within 3 business days. Engineering assessment and resolution proposal are provided within 10 business days of receipt of complete documentation.

5. Warranty Resolution

Depending on the nature and scale of the defect, resolution may take one of the following forms:

Replacement units at no cost

For confirmed manufacturing defects meeting the defect rate threshold. Replacement units are produced and shipped with the Buyer's next order to minimize additional freight. Where urgent replacement is needed, we can ship separately via express courier.

Refurbishment or component replacement

For defects limited to a specific component (e.g., charging cable, motor) where the Buyer is equipped to perform in-country assembly, we may supply replacement components directly.

Production credit

Credit note applied to the Buyer's next purchase order, valued at the confirmed defective unit cost. Valid for 12 months from issue date.

Engineering analysis

For systematic defects affecting more than 2% of a batch, Evokomoribi may request that a sample of defective units be returned (freight paid by Evokomoribi) for engineering root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.

6. Warranty & Resale

This warranty is issued directly to the Buyer (the entity that placed the purchase order with Evokomoribi) and does not automatically transfer to the Buyer's end customers. Buyers who resell products under their own private label are responsible for managing end-consumer warranty claims in accordance with the consumer protection laws of their destination market. Evokomoribi's B2B warranty supports the Buyer, not individual end users.

7. Limitation

The warranty is limited to the remedies described in Section 5 and does not extend to consequential loss, lost sales, brand damage, or third-party claims. Evokomoribi's total warranty liability for any single purchase order shall not exceed the invoiced value of that order.
